The First of Lotus Dragon's Tri-State Tai Chi Seminars was held in Farmington, New Mexico, December 3-4, 2005. Our gracious host was the Kenpo Karate studio on Farmington Ave.
Attendees from Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico were treated to an intensive weekend of workshops and fellowship between the members of various schools.

For those who missed the story of the design shown above, here is the story:
Sifu Rick Clark, who now teaches Tai Chi and Kung Fu in Payson, Arizona, was the founder of the Farmington, NM affiliated school.
Early on in his association with Sifu Dug Corpolongo, Rick inquired about the self-defense application of "Snake Creeps Down", an elegant movement segment in the Yang Style Long Form.
Rick got a memorable demonstration of the practical application and chose the incident as the basis of the Retreat logo. |
