Instructor and Senior Student Courtesy

In order to enhance student confidence in the skill and aptitude of everyone leading the classes at Lotus Dragon Kung Fu and Tai Chi, our Instructors and Senior Students should:

1. Always set an example of proper Kung fu and Kuan etiquette for junior students.

2. Always address other Instructors and Senior Students by their formal titles during class.

3. Never correct another Instructor or Senior Student in front of junior students.

4. Never criticize another Instructor or Senior Student in front of junior students.

5. Never disrupt a class that another Instructor or Senior Student is leading.

6. Always offer to help, but never annex or take over a class that is being lead by another Instructor or Senior Student, even if you are senior to the individual leading the class.

7. Always show the same respect toward the Instructor or Senior Student who is leading a class that you would give Sifu, even if you are senior to the individual leading the class.

8. Always try to help the Instructor or Senior Student leading the class by tutoring junior students that the leader can’t get around to.
